Every wedding is unique, and it's this individuality that I aim to capture in my films. My approach is primarily based on storytelling. I don't just film moments; I construct a narrative. I weave together emotions, glances, silences and laughter to create a living, sincere and timeless memory.
I firmly believe that it's the little things that make all the difference. A discreet gesture, a particular light, a trembling voice... It is these elements that I strive to capture with precision, in order to convey the sensitive truth of your day.
Sound, music and the soul of the film
In my work, sound is just as important as image. It provides rhythm, depth and emotion. I pay particular attention to soundscapes, speeches, voices and music. Every sound, every note and every breath contributes to creating an immersive experience that is as close as possible to your own experiences and feelings.
As for the music, it is never just window dressing. It's in harmony with the images, guiding the narrative and amplifying the emotion. I take the time to find the right tone and piece that will resonate with you today and in 30 years' time.
A cinematic aesthetic
My vision is nourished by cinema. I use professional tools to give my films a meticulous, cinematic aesthetic without artifice, but with exacting standards. I love beautiful natural light, thoughtful framing, and subtle movements that convey the story without interruption. My aim is simple: to ensure that you are moved every time you watch a film and feel proud to share it with your loved ones.
And I, Guénolé
I live in the south of the country, and that's no accident. I need space, light and nature. This is where I recharge my batteries, enjoying walks by the sea, trips to the mountains, and simple aperitifs with friends. I love genuine, unadorned moments — the kind that don't need to be filmed to be remembered.
I work alongside my partner, Carine, who accompanies me on this adventure. She offers a different perspective and invaluable help with communication, as well as the daily support that enables me to dedicate myself fully to my brides and grooms. This is as much a life project as a profession.
Cinema has always been my passion. I go to the cinema every week to be nourished and inspired, and sometimes challenged. It is this passion that informs the exacting standards I apply to my images and the importance I attach to rhythm, sound and narrative. In summer, I like to lose myself in a festival or concert. I love the live experience, the moment and the sharing, and these are all things that I also like to capture at weddings.
I'm not trying to do too much. I simply want to make films that are sincere, beautiful and meaningful. If you agree, then we're made for each other!
