Wedding Photo & Video Duo
in Montpellier

Photography and film do not tell a wedding day in the same way.

But when they are conceived together,

they create a more coherent and fluid reading of the day.

I regularly work alongside Guillaume Planat, a wedding photographer based in Montpellier..

Over time, a shared way of working has naturally developed

built on a clear distribution of roles and a similar attention to moments.

As a wedding videographer based in Montpellier, I follow this same approach, focusing on a fluid and discreet way of capturing the day.

This allows the day to unfold with greater simplicity,

while maintaining continuity in the way it is documented.

An approach designed for fluidity

When I work with Guillaume, coordination happens without the need for adjustments.

We know how to position ourselves, how to capture the same moment without interfering, and how to limit unnecessary direction.

This fluidity helps preserve the natural rhythm of the day, without creating interruptions in its flow.

Photography

It isolates moments.

It focuses on light, interactions,

and the clarity of a single instant.

Film

It builds continuity.

It works with movement, sound and rhythm,

to structure a narrative.

Two complementary approaches

The goal remains the same: to create coherent images, without conflicting interpretations.

A deliberately understated approach

I favour an observational approach rather than constant direction.

The intention is to let situations unfold naturally,

and to intervene only when necessary.

This allows interactions to remain authentic,

and avoids any sense of artificial staging in the final images.

What this changes, in practice

The day flows more naturally.

Interventions are kept to a minimum.

Moments can unfold without interruption.

This results in more natural images,

and a stronger continuity between photography and film.

Where this approach makes the most sense

This way of working is particularly suited when the rhythm of the day is dynamic,

when locations evolve throughout the day,

and when interactions between guests play an important role.

It suits couples who wish to limit interruptions

and preserve a sense of spontaneity.

A coordinated proposal

When working together, photography and film are conceived as a whole.

Coverage, timings and deliverables are defined according to the day, to ensure overall coherence.

A joint video call can be arranged, to align expectations, simplify coordination and provide a clear vision of the image team’s organisation.

A detailed proposal is then shared, in a clear and structured way.

Montpellier and surrounding areas

This duo is primarily available in Montpellier and its surroundings.

I regularly work across Hérault, Aude and Gard,

with an approach adapted to each location and timeline.

Photography / Film

A coordinated approach between photography and film allows for a more readable and coherent coverage,

and a result that remains faithful to the day as it was truly experienced.
