What the day revealed
Some weddings go off without a hitch.
Others have to adapt.
Sharlène and Loïc’s wedding was one of the latter.
Uncertain weather, a few adjustments…
But above all, a very clear determination: to make the most of the day, surrounded by their loved ones.
A constant energy, fuelled by their presence, that of their family… and that of their two little girls.

Located in Provence, the Domaine du Grand Belly offers an elegant and well-organised setting, combining distinctive architecture with a natural environment.
A venue particularly well-suited to modern weddings, where every detail contributes to a cohesive overall aesthetic.
Here, despite the changes necessitated by the weather, the day’s elegance and smooth running remained undiminished.
My approach
This film centres on their ability to remain present.
Present for one another.
Present for their loved ones.
And above all, present for their children, who took centre stage on this day.
My task was to capture this continuity.
This way of living in the moment, without letting the unexpected distract them.
And to convey this energy in a film that is fluid, elegant… and deeply human.
Despite everything… we find exactly what we experienced, and everything that mattered to us.
