A day that starts off quietly… and gradually comes to life.
What the day revealed
Some marriages feel right from the very first moment.
Others unfold gradually.
Tiphaine and Nicolas’s wedding followed the latter path.
An elegant ceremony, a controlled atmosphere, almost suspended in time…
Then an energy began to take hold, fuelled by the exchanges, the glances, the presence of everyone there.
Until it became a genuine collective dynamic, fluid and vibrant.
The venue
Château de Malmont
Villeneuvette, Hérault
Nestled in the heart of an unspoilt setting, Château de Malmont is a vineyard estate surrounded by lush greenery, offering an atmosphere that is both elegant and natural.
Its various spaces — terraces, main courtyard, reception rooms — allow the day to unfold seamlessly, alternating between quieter moments and more festive occasions.
A place that naturally complements this build-up in intensity, allowing each moment to find its place.
My approach
This film was built around this evolution.
An elegance that was very much in evidence from the start.
An eye for detail, for textures, for that dress—both delicate and ethereal—which played a key part in shaping the day’s identity.
Then a gradual shift.
Driven in particular by the music and energy of the band DIM Feel, who transformed the atmosphere of the cocktail reception… before taking the whole evening by storm.
My job was to accompany this movement, without rushing it.
And to make it the central theme of the film.
The result is stunning! Every moment has been captured with care and emotion.
