Located on the French Riviera, the Château des Déffends offers a sophisticated and refined setting, combining elegant architecture with a Mediterranean atmosphere.
A venue that lends itself to weddings planned down to the last detail, where every element – the décor, the colours, the staging – contributes to the overall vision.
Here, despite the adjustments necessitated by the weather, this consistency has remained intact.
My approach
The film is built around this tension.
The gap between what was planned… and what actually happened.
My task was not to gloss over these adjustments, but to weave them into the narrative.
Because they are part of history.
And because it is often at times like these that we get the best sense of people’s true characters.
A blend of elegance, skill and adaptability.
Despite everything that’s happened… we’ve found exactly what we were hoping for..
